BostonFIG is a one day show that is open to the public and press at MIT in Boston. This was my first trip to BostonFIG and I really had no idea what to expect, but following my own rules I did my best to prepare for the event. I knew this wasn't really a show to do the hardcore playtesting like I did in the Double Exposure Playtest Hall at GenCon. This show is more about general exposure
An Idea Without a Pitch is no Idea
The importance of the pitch cannot be understated. I am no master at it, but I can relate what has worked for me over time.
Content
When I first started, the content of the pitch was mostly about the mechanics which I thought were cool and my motivation for doing the game. This was long winded and could be rather boring
